Florré’s Favorite February Fashion Finds

PC: Florré

Back in November, I had a faint feeling that winter was not going to be that bad this year. We are now in February, and I can confirm I’m actually handling it like a champ. No seasonal depression, no freezing to the bone (despite it being the coldest winter New York has seen in decades), and no whining or oversleeping. After years of trying, I think I’ve actually managed to romanticize winter this time. I’ve been updating my Surviving Winter series pretty consistently, and taking my own advice by investing in proper coats, accessories, and warm boots. It’s allowed me to feel so cozy chic that I actually slightly dread the arrival of spring. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but I really wish for more cooler days to wear my favorite winter fashion finds.

Which takes us to today’s post. Last season, I made a roundup of my best fall purchases. I’m still obsessed with everything I got and know they’ll make great transitional pieces in spring as well. So today, I’m listing out my favorite February fashion finds. No, I did not buy all of these items in February—the month has just begun. But these are the latest pieces I bought that got me through the thick of winter. My most exciting piece? A second-hand Khaite tote I’ve been eyeing forever. It’s no longer in production, but I managed to get a killer deal on Poshmark and couldn’t be more proud of myself. Then some more practical pieces, like kitten-heeled boots and crochet bonnets. Let’s get into it.

Hats

I jumped on the pillbox hat trend, yes. I like to think that this one found me. I spotted this velvet Bergdorf Goodman pillbox hat at my local vintage store and I’m deeply in love. At the same store, I also picked up a cute knitted bonnet. I love the look of balaclavas, but unfortunately, they don’t suit my specific face shape. The bonnet-esque headpiece, on the other hand, felt like it was made especially for me and has been a saving grace during these freezing temperatures. I found some similar styles of both the pillbox hat and bonnet, below.

Bags

A very specific Khaite bag had caught my eye a few years ago. As in love I felt at the time, I was in no place to splurge over $2,000 on a mesh tote. Imagine my surprise when I saw it listed for $1,000 on Poshmark a few weeks ago. The price still felt quite steep, so I’m ashamed to admit that I lowballed my offer, assuming the seller would never accept it. But alas, I got it for far cheaper and now the beauty is mine, FINALLY. When it comes to purchasing future heirloom pieces, I’ve learned that patience is a virtue. If you want something bad enough and trust in the universe, it will send it your way one way or another. This Khaite mesh tote definitely falls under one of my best purchases of 2026, and the year has only begun.

Shoes

Next up on my list are these Madewell kitten-heeled boots. I already have a pair of square-toed ankle boots, but the heel is quite high, making them difficult to wear to certain functions. I wanted a kitten-heeled version I could wear more casually—something that instantly elevates my look without putting too much effort in. These shoes fit the bill. They require long socks, but otherwise are quite comfortable! I’ve been wearing them with my wide-leg jeans, and they turn the laid-back silhouette into something more ladylike.

Glasses

Last but not least, I received a new pair of glasses from Jimmy Fairly. The kind PR team invited me to check out their new New York City store and test out a few rims. I picked out these Emmy glasses, because I’ve been loving the office siren look. The inspiration came from these Miu Miu MU09XV glasses, and I do believe the Emmy ones resemble the style pretty closely. I’m also fairly certain they added a blue light-blocking shield on the lens, so I feel comfortable wearing them while working.

And that concludes my February shopping finds! I hope you enjoyed and I’ll definitely be back to do a spring or summer one soon.
