The neck—possibly one of the most underrated sensual parts of our bodies. We love to draw attention to it with a unique neckline, and when we’re not exposing it, we accent it with a scarf, sharp collar, or turtleneck. Over the spring and summer, we saw endless iterations of the scarf top—delicate, slim scarves attached to (typically silk) tops that are meant to be thrown over the shoulder. As the temperatures cool, though, the new way to cocoon our necks is with a turtleneck jacket.

Yes, funnel-neck jackets are all the rage this fall. I saw one of my favorite influencers (Moya Mawhinney) purchase a gorgeous Jil Sander funnel neck leather jacket last year, and it’s been marinating in my mind ever since. Sadly, the same leather jacket is no longer available online, but I found a plethora of other funnel-neck jackets available and have linked them below.

My girl Moya was one of the earliest adopters of the turtleneck jacket trend. In this most recent fashion week, the Spring/Summer 2026 collections showcased a number of chic, oversized bombers and outerwear with these high-neck coverings. They’re often finished with a cinched, cropped hem and then styled with a midi skirt. More streamlined silhouettes exist as well, of course. I was particularly taken by the Altuzarra jacket (above) and have already placed it in my wishlist for next year.
