Welcome to Florrés Fall Shop! The second of its kind. In fact, I would have completely forgotten to update this post had my analytics not shown that readers were clicking through last year’s fall favorites. A sweet reminder that Fall is, in fact, right around the corner and the shoppers are on the prowl.
I’m excited to be writing about my favorite fall finds in this specific moment, because I’m about to board a flight to London where the season already got a head start. Whilst packing, I made sure to prepare a few looks around my riding boots, and wondered whether it’s too early to bring a light jacket. I obviously did a little online and in-person browsing as part of my preparation ritual (it helps with the inspo). September is, after all, the “new year” of fashion, and I’ve been curiously clicking through the many new arrivals pages of my favorite brands.
Here in New York it’s still comfortably warm. Summer is my favorite season, and I’m in no rush to jump ahead into the cold. That being said, I, too, have noticed that familiar fall flavor in the crisp morning air as I walk my dog. It’s quieter in the AM now, as if the critters and creatures are choosing to snooze in and wait for the sun to get to work.
Florré’s Fall Shop features favorites from Ròhe, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Massimo Dutti, and more. I’m sticking to Autumn’s signature colors, namely burgundy, brown, and cream, as much as possible, because while I appreciated brighter hues and poppy colors, if it’s one thing I like more in the fall than in the summer, it’s its muted color palette.
